Teche Elementary

Teche Elementary was built in 1960.  The original structure
was renovated during the 2003-2004 school year.
The Acadian Style look has not been compromised. Since its
opening in 1960, the school has had four principals:
 Ms. Mildred Broussard, (1960-1974),
Mr. Issac Thomas (1974-1986),
Mrs. Lulla Wiltz (1986-1998),
and Ms. Patti Guidry, who has been the principal of the school since 1998. Teche Elementary has an open door policy and welcomes parents and community members.

Teche Elementary emphasizes learning
for all students in a safe, enriching environment.
At TECHE We...
Take Responsibility for everything we do
Expect the Best of Ourselves
Have Respect for ourselves and others
